Welcome to the online home of Clayton’s Hot Rods.  My name is Clay Slaughter and I’ve been doing the old car thing since I was a youngster, and have also been a certified welder/fabricator for the past 15 years.  Building cars is the perfect opportunity for me to use my metal skills and love for period correct hot rods, and turning it into a career has been a dream of mine.  I grew up surfing and skateboarding, and hot rods and vintage autos always seemed to go hand-in-hand with those cultures.

When I’m not building or studying cars, I’m hanging out with my wife and two daughters, doing the family thing.
